Once the domain is registered
All Dutch domain names registered with us are stored on our international server. Domains registered with us are automatically provided with their own under-construction page - this notifies potential registrants that the name has been acquired and is now registered. The under-construction page is offered free of charge and may be used indefinitely.
It is possible for Web and/or Mail forwarding to be provided for Dutch domains.
Domain transfer/release fees are charged are by a majority of registrars, but BB Online make no charge to transfer a domain to another Dutch domain name registrar.

.nl is the Internet country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for the Netherlands.
Being the first country code top-level domain name (ccTLD) to be registered, the .nl domain name for the Netherlands has become the 4th most popular domain name for registrants as put forward by the VeriSign Domain Name Industry in their quarterly tallies, with over three million registrants.
From 1986 the .nl domain name was operated and sponsored by the 'Piet Beertema of the Centrum voor Wiskunde en Informatica'; however, the domain have been delegated to the Stichting Internet Domeinregistratie Nederland (SDIN).
